Since the foundation of the Eastman Color Printing Company in 1966, DARAN has been developing for 30 years.

Publication Service : We founded the Eastman Publishing Company to publish Japanese classical comics and fictions as well as Taiwan native comics.

Tool Service : We published the first teenage girl comics weekly in Taiwan -- "Hsiao Mi Comics Weekly". We introduced various dip nib pens and books on comics drawing skills to Taiwan and started a popular trand for studying comics.

Creativity Service : We held the first Folk Comics Competition -- "Hsiao Mi New Blood Award" to encourage and support new Taiwanese Comics artists including Chang Chin-Mei, Yo Su-Lan, Kao Yong, Chou Hsien-Tzong, Jen Chen-Hwa, who are now top artists in this trade.

Drawing Skill Service : Through correspondence we instructed new artists how to improve drawing skills.

Plot Service : We changed the Eastman Publication Company to DARAN culture and import high-class "Swift Wind", "Biography of the Black Panthers" from Hong Kong to enterain Taiwanese readers, helping our readers to pay attention to the tension of plots.

Consumer Service : We founded the first convenient house of comics -- "ACCO Convenient House of Comics", causing a revolution of comics consuming style.

Editing Design Service : With the guidance of our professional editing group to arrangment of scenes and visual directions, we improved the editingdesign skill which had been mostly neglected, and made it competitive in the market.

Copyright Service : After years' active promotion, the time of copyright has finally come, DARAN was the first to be granted with many Japanese copyrights and became the first legally authorized publication company in Taiwan. In addition, we were authorized by the Japanese Chi Ying Company to publish the first comics weekly through Sino-Japanese corporation -- "TOP Weekly", and became the leading pioneer of Taiwan comics market.

Market Exploration Service : We actively explored the international market so that out "Young Guns","Miss Sexy", and "L-Man the Lizard Man" shook the Korean market, and the Japanese version of Kao Yong's works had excellent sales in the japanese market that always had fierce competition.

		DARAN's department of books have published over 700 sets and 2600 different books. In addition to corperatc with foreign big publishers and seeking for their authorization, we are collecting all the award-winning works of notable Japanese, Korean and Hong Kong comics artists.
	1.Teenage Comics Reader Group: Age 14-20 Characteristics : Zeal, friendship and sports are our main approaches. We'd like to help the teens form an endcavoring view of life through rightful and healthy themes. "TOP" has the authorization of SHUEISHA INC. and "HOT" by TOKUMA SHOTEN PUBLISHING CO., LTD. With these presentations we expect to achieve justice and peace by endeavoring together with teen readers. As for the teen comics series, DARAN presents "Hot Teen TOP" and "Zealous Teen HOT". We hope to win their voung hearts by showing them themes concerning friendship and struggles for success.
	2.Teenage Girls Comics Reader Group: Age 12-20 Characteristics: our main themes are youth, innocence and dreams, with variable styles and lively contents to present girls with a romantic world in which hearts can run freely. Teen Girls Comics consist Of 3 parts : "Princess', "Flowers and Dreams" and 'Princess Supplement", each having its own approach so that it is prosperous and lively than ever in this domain. "Princess" and "Princess Supplement' has the authorization of SHOGAKUKAN INC. and "Flowers and Dreams" of HAKUSENSHA INC. 	3.Youth Comics Reader Group:Age 20-30(male) Characteristics:We analyze the society with mature and profound insight, and try to achieve creativity and breakthrough where topics are concerned. 	4.Children Comics "Magic" has the authorization of Japanese SHOGAKUKAN INC. . It is combined with RPG TV Game Monthly and have thier own powerful sales network.
